Several of the lawyers from the law firm of Rossway Swan recently visited the 7th grade Civics classes at Storm Grove Middle School for their Law Week presentations. Organized by teacher James Thimmer, lawyers prepared special programs and speeches for the students to help deepen their knowledge of the Judicial Branch, law and the court system in the United States. Additionally, the students take a state standardized test in May which covers all of the standards they have been taught since the beginning of the school year and the presentations helped prepare the students for the exams. The three lawyers from Rossway Swan that presented to the Civics classes included: Chelsea Miller, Blake Smith and Justin McConnell.
