A cornerstone of our Firm’s core values is to give back to our community. The principle of “community” has always been at the forefront of our law firm and our commitment extends beyond simply providing legal assistance to our family of clients. Rossway Swan believes in giving back to the Treasure Coast and Space Coast communities that have long supported our establishments. Our attorneys and staff are stewards of our communities and promote volunteerism, reinforcing a firm-wide belief that our team can empower local organizations while also creating a sense of self-fulfillment that comes from serving others.
Twenty-five years ago, when the Members of Rossway Swan decided to continue their outreach in their communities, one of the initiatives they selected was Florida’s Adopt-A-Highway Program. It was at that time that Rossway Swan adopted our bridge that spans the Indian River Lagoon. Collectively, the Members, Partners, Attorneys and Staff of Rossway Swan remove litter from this stretch of highway on a quarterly basis.
Every December, Rossway Swan ushers in the holiday season with their Annual Soup Bowl to benefit the Samaritan Center for Homeless Families. The Soup Bowl embodies the spirit of giving as individuals forgo the lunchtime meal they might normally enjoy and instead partake of a hearty meal of soup and bread for a minimum donation to the Samaritan Center. To further support the community, the Firm also chooses an entity to become a beneficiary of their annual “Giving Tree”. During the Soup Bowl, the Firm hosts an open house and invites visitors to enjoy a delicious lunch, featuring a variety of soups and desserts all homemade by employees of the Firm, while also welcoming the community to participate in the Giving Tree to contribute gifts to those in need.
Whether supporting organizations at a grassroots level, or chairing high-level events, our firm believes in the importance of community contribution. Indeed, the importance we place upon uplifting the community is evidenced by the impact time and effort our employees place in community service.
