Rebecca F. Emmons

Rebecca Emmons is a real estate and corporate attorney at the Firm.  Her real estate practice consists of representing clients in the purchase and sale of real estate; service as closing agent and title insurance underwriter for all forms of real estate and lending transactions; representation of land developers in the creation of common development restrictions; preparation of homeowner’s association organizational documents; and ongoing representation of condominium and homeowners’ associations. Rebecca’s practice encompasses both residential and commercial transactions.  

Rebecca’s business law practice includes, general contract preparation and review; formation of new entities; preparation of stockholder agreements and their equivalents; acquisitions and dispositions of businesses; ongoing maintenance of corporate records and compliance; and functioning as outside general counsel to provide wide ranging and ongoing advice to business owners.  She also represents and provides advice to many significant tax-exempt organizations in the Treasure Coast region.

Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from PennWest Clarion and her Juris Doctorate from Cleveland Marshall College of Law where she chaired their award-winning Moot Court Team and served as an editor on Law Review.  While in law school, Rebecca was awarded the Prestigious Hinshaw & Culbertson Best Brief Award at the National Finals of the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition.

Rebecca is an active member of her community.  Her passion is purposeful philanthropy and is proud to have served as President of Indian River Impact 100, a widely successful women’s collective philanthropy group, and as a past Chairman of the Indian River Community Foundation, one of the fastest growing and most prolific grant-making community foundations in the country.
