Paul R. Amos

Paul Amos is a Vero Beach native.  He attended St. Edward’s School for ten years and attended Vero Beach Senior High School, graduating in 1986.  Paul focuses his practice in the areas of civil, commercial, and construction litigation, as well as the representation of municipalities and special districts.

Paul attended The Florida State University, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration.  Paul studied law at the Sheppard Broad School of Law at Nova Southeastern University and graduated with a Juris Doctor Degree in 1995. Paul completed an externship program for Nova Southeastern University with the 19th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office with the Florida Supreme Court’s authorization to make court appearances and try cases under supervision by the State Attorney’s Office.  Upon completion of the externship and admission to The Florida Bar, Paul accepted employment with Bruce Colton, State Attorney for the 19th Judicial Circuit and was an Assistant State Attorney for eight years.  Paul entered private practice in 2003, and has continuously maintained a Florida practice. 

Paul has been a Member of the Indian River County Bar Association since entering private practice and has been on the Board of Directors since 2014, where he served as Immediate Past President from 2020-2021.
