Amber Kourofsky joined the Firm in 2020 and focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation and representing creditors in bankruptcy. While attending Stetson University College of Law, Ms. Kourofsky interned for the Honorable Judge Caryl E. Delano, a Bankruptcy Judge in the Middle District of Florida, and received the William F. Blews pro-bono award for her work at Gulfport Legal Services.
Ms. Kourofsky has appeared on behalf of clients in federal and state courts throughout the state of Florida, and has represented Plaintiffs, Defendants, Debtors and Creditors. In 2016, the Florida Supreme Court awarded her a commendation for providing excellence in pro bono services. She has appeared on Stewart Alexander’s Let’s Talk Bankruptcy series in 2017 and co-authored Worry-Free Bankruptcy: Conversations with Leading Bankruptcy Professionals, published in 2018.
